Exchange or return of products

You wish to return a product purchased in store, go directly to the Service Area of your store.

At CHAPCHAP you have the right to change your mind for 07 days after the date of purchase of your product 😉

You have plenty of time to change your mind.

Exchange or refund of an unopened product:

  • Devices and accessories whose packaging has not been opened, unsealed CDs, DVDs and software and books may be subject to a refund. The product must be accompanied by the receipt or invoice and returned in its original and complete condition (packaging, accessories, instructions, etc.)

This commitment applies to purchases of new products made in CHAPCHAP stores in Benin and in Franchisee stores. Purchases made on CHAPCHAP.pro and purchases made in CHAPCHAP stores or spaces located in train stations, airports and service stations are not affected.

Return of an opened product under conditions:

Devices whose packaging has been opened will be subject to a conditional refund or a conditional exchange for equivalent equipment that better meets your wishes.

The following products will not be exchanged or refunded: CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, unsealed game and software media, household appliances or kitchen utensils and hygiene accessories that have been used (e.g. in-ear headphones, beauty products and care, etc.), dematerialized media (downloads, etc.), products linked to a subscription (telephones, etc.), single component of a sales lot, consumables, services and gift boxes, incomplete products (manuals, accessories, etc.), products sold in condition, soiled or damaged products, products without proof of purchase. Delivery

Can you tell me how long it will take to receive my order?

All items sold on CHAPCHAP Africa are available in stock and ready to ship. We ship your package within a maximum of 0 to 2 working days after receipt of your order.

Whatever your delivery method, you will be able to follow the status of your order in your customer area or on the page Track my order.

Is it possible to modify the delivery address or the content of the order?

Once your order has been validated, you can contact our customer service by telephone or e-mail to request the modification of one or more items or change the delivery address of your order, provided that it has not yet been prepared. In addition, if you have chosen CHAPCHAP Xpress as your delivery method, it is possible to request a change to your delivery address, but only before the order has been shipped.

Where should I collect my package?

After placing your order on our site, you will receive an email containing the delivery address you provided. If you are absent during delivery, the carrier will leave a calling card telling you where to collect your package.

What happens if it is missing during delivery?

If you are absent during delivery, a delivery notice will be left in your mailbox indicating the postal contact point where you can collect your package. You will have a period of 10 calendar days to collect it, starting from the day after the day you submit the notice of passage. If the deadline is missed for reasons that are your responsibility, you will need to contact our customer service to find a solution.

How to receive delivery of a large product?

Delivery of bulky products can be done via our Premium Delivery service. To ensure everyone's safety, it is recommended to ventilate the delivery room before the delivery person arrives, to maintain a distance of 2 meters and to facilitate access to the delivery room. The delivery person will take care of the delivery by recording all the information on his PDA, thus avoiding any direct contact. Our delivery people are trained in barrier gestures and have masks and hydroalcoholic gel to guarantee your safety. Please note that curtain rods cannot be delivered to the door. This delivery method is only available in France and the cost depends on the delivery location and the products ordered.

How do I return a product that I don't like?

For all returns, the procedure below must be fully respected:

For any non-bulky item order, you can declare your return and generate your label through our returns portal: https://staging.studio26.africa/chapchap-africa/returns
For any order of bulky and furniture items, in accordance with the code provided for by the Consumer Code, return costs are the responsibility of the customer. To do this, we invite you to contact our after-sales service by telephone on 229 94 43 23 43 or by email on eshop@chapchap.pro to declare your return.

Items must be returned within 14 days, in their original packaging, with their label and any accessories, in perfect resalable condition. They must therefore neither have been washed, nor damaged, nor transformed. You must attach to your package the return slip to complete and print in your Customer Area / My Orders. The refund will be made within a maximum of 14 working days after receipt of the return by bank credit or Mobile Money account. If these conditions are not respected, the chapchap.pro site reserves the right not to accept your return.

These conditions are only valid for people who have purchased on the chapchap.pro website.

How do I return a product that has a defect?

If you have purchased a product on CHAPCHAP.pro and you notice a defect despite all the quality controls carried out, we invite you to follow the following procedure:

Send an e-mail to customer service, mentioning the order number in the subject of the e-mail, accompanied by photos of the product with the visible defect, a photo of the label on the packaging and your choice between a exchange or refund.
Our customer service will respond to you within 5 working days of receiving your email.

If you need to return the defective item, please follow the returns procedure and provide the reason for return. If the defect is proven on our part, we will reimburse the cost of returning and resending the item.
